Ein Düsseldorfer in St. Pauli

Yesterday was quite a success. We made it to four of the six breweries on the list, and had a couplethree more beers when we got home.

Today's plan is even more ambitious (see here), but you know we'll do our best!

Mario is having a great time, and it's been a whole lot of fun sharing beers and places with him, and we still have two days to go!

So let's get some breakfast in us and head east to Saint Paul!

But first...

Mario left his power adapter at Omni last night, so here we are picking it up. And since you can't stop at a brewery without having a beer...

First (official) stop: Yoerg's in St. Paul. "Minnesota's oldest brewery" is in a little corner tavern, and it's a real neat place. They pour four of their own beers (which change all the time) along with a whole raft of Belgian and German imports. Their Culmbacher dark lager was my favorite.

Pretty good beers at Waldmann! Especially the Pilsener.

Good beers here at Bad Weather Brewing. The English Pub Ale from the cask was especially tasty! And at just 3.8%abv, you could drink it all day.

Clutch Brewing is a Real Neat Place! And their Sheps Rye is damn tasty.

Now Mario is having a flight of six beers at Aegir. Then we'll go home to watch tonight's Sharks @ Kraken game, and there are at least for more beers for him to sample there.
